It is inspiring to see what a renovation can do to a house, you almost don’t recognize the house anymore. As you saw on the previous page, the house was dark and grey and looked very gloomy, which is part of why the owners were able to buy it for a good price. Nobody wants to live in a gloomy house.
The facade has been completely redone. It used to be in 2 pieces, but now the roof is a beautiful single piece. The front has been done in a beautiful wooden finish with a lot more windows, so there’s plenty of sunlight inside. They’ve installed double glazing and a lot of insulation, making the house very energy efficient.
