The process of cleaning your shower head might be even more fun than you think because it’s just a bit different than usual. It is best to approach the cleaning as follows. Mix a third cup of baking soda with a whole cup of vinegar and place it in a ziplock bag. You probably notice that the chemical process is already starting! Then you put your shower head in this bag and use an elastic band to make sure that the bag is tight around the shower head. You then have to let this work on the shower head overnight.
After this, you can reconnect your shower head (if you have removed it). To ensure that all the last residues also go out of the shower head, it is important that you let warm water flow out of the shower head for a few minutes before the next shower.
