During this pandemic, you were, of course, able to take great care of all your plants at home. Maybe, you even expanded your collection of houseplants because, after all, you were at home anyway. Perhaps, you found a new hobby and got green fingers. Now that most countries finally have a green light for travel again, chances are you’ll have to leave your plants behind for a while. Unfortunately, you cannot take all that greenery with you in your suitcase. How do you ensure that all your plants survive while you are on vacation? Now you can with this DIY!
This ‘self-sufficient’ drainage system ensures that the plants continuously receive moisture for at least a week. By hanging laces in a bucket and connecting them to the plant, water is absorbed into the lace, and as a result, the plant ‘sucks up’ water when it needs it.
What do you need for this DIY?
