You know the drill: you’re just getting started, and your colleague comes in to tell you another nonsensical story. The interrupting can be super irritating. Yet it turns out that interrupting can have a positive effect on our sense of belonging. This is what American researchers have concluded.
If you work in an office environment, you probably recognize it. You’re in the middle of a project, concentrating hard, and a colleague is at your desk asking for help. Despite the disadvantages, employees also felt more like they “belonged. This will ultimately lead to more job satisfaction!
