The only thing you need is a toilet roll. Cut a strip out of a toilet roll and put your phone in it. The sound waves can then travel in even fewer directions and the sound will be amplified extra well.
Another thing you can use is a cardboard tube, for example, a Pringles package. Cut a hole at the bottom of the empty tube. Put your phone in there with the speaker down, and the tube functions as a small speaker.
