2. Make a choice
There is often enough delicious food to choose from at dinner, but often our eyes are bigger than our stomachs. On top of that, we often put extra ‘special’ delicacies on the table during the holidays. Extra fatty, extra creamy, extra spicy, and so on. You guessed it: that doesn’t make your stomach happy. Eat a little of everything or skip a few things.

3. Eat slowly
You’ve been busy all year. So you’ve probably eaten a meal while working or on the go. But with the holidays, there’s no need to do that! Take your time with your meal. Take small bites and chew your food thoroughly. This way you will also enjoy the taste and texture of your festive meal.
