There is nothing worse than trying to sleep and a mosquito is buzzing in your room. Mosquitoes are a great annoyance to a lot of people. The buzzing disturbs your peace and the next day you wake up covered with mosquito bites. Nobody is happy about this. But how do you get rid of those insects in your room? The following tips will give you a mosquito-free night!
Your breath catches the mosquito
How do you hunt down that one mosquito? There is a useful trick for this. What do you need? Your breath and a flashlight! It is a myth that mosquitoes are attracted to light, although light does come in handy when catching a mosquito. It is important that in your room all lights are turned off and it is completely dark (which was probably already the case since you were trying to fall asleep). Grab the flashlight (from your phone) and exhale on its beam of light.
It will work since mosquitoes are attracted to the smell of your breath. But you have to be patient… The light from the flashlight helps you to see the mosquito and then catch it. Job done!
